I'm very please to have nailed everything this past weekend at Ironman Arizona. I have been using FE products for two years now, but I FINALLY figured out an Ironman plan that really works for me. The ticket was figuring out a way to divide my calorie intake into easy to manage, equal portions. Consume 1 portion every hour, throw in some water...easy. The always simple FE Nutrition report:
Morning Breakfast: Toast with PB and J. Coffee. Ensure meal replacement.
Sipped on Ultragen (200 calories) for the couple hours before the start.
45min before race start:
A large 150 calorie swig of liquid shot followed by some water
On the bike:
