IM UK Nutrition Report

I've just returned from racing Ironman UK last Sunday where I placed 4th in the pro women.


For breakfast race morning I had : a bowl of oatmeal, 4 pieces of toast with jam and cheese, 2 cups of tea, 3 First Endurance Multi-V's and 4 Optygen.

IM Brazil Nutrition/Race Report

After racing IM Brazil on Sunday in Florianopolis, I over-nighted in Sao Paolo last night and head back to the US this evening. With time on my hands and rigor mortis in my legs, I figured it was a good time to write my nutrition/race report.

Wildflower Nutrition Plan

Last Saturday, I raced the Wildflower 1/2 as training preparation for IM Brazil in 4 weeks. It was also a chance for me to practice my IM nutrition plan that I'll be using in Brazil.


Race start was 8am and at 6am I ate the following for breakfast :



-1 banana

-2 packets of oatmeal

-toasted bagel with 2 tbs of peanut butter

-small coffee

The End of Training Camp

California Dreamin' on such a Winter's Day

I know I have absolutely no reason to complain about the cold weather passing through southern California this week. I spent over 25 years of my life in eastern Canada with winter lasting almost 6 months of the year. Snow from November to April and 6 months inside on the windtrainer. Ahh, the good memories, but I digress.
