- About me
- My wife, Michele, and I live in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. We don’t have kids, or pets, very few plants even. I have a full time (sometimes more) job as an environmental engineer.
I’ve been playing sports as long as I can remember, but found my love for running in high school cross-country and track. I ran a few more seasons in college (Div III) before academics took over. I didn’t run much for the next four or five years as I finished undergrad, started working, and completed a master’s degree at night.
Then I caught the marathon bug and after a few years of that, triathlon took over. Endurance sports have been part of my life since I was 14, I expect they will continue to be for a long time.

The Week That Was, March 8-14
The sun is staying up longer, and IT IS AWESOME! I can actually run after work and not fear for my life. Of course Sunday was the beginning of
daylight savings time, which IS EVEN MORE AWESOME!! It was starting to
get pretty easy to get out of bed, so I suppose that will get worse for
a while. But its totally worth it.

Weekend Warrior
My definition of weekend warrior is someone who does very little all week then goes out and kills themselves with insanely hard workouts on the weekend. Which pretty much sums up my last five days.
