IM Coeur d Alene invite

As of May 12th we have fourteen members in this group. Stay tuned as you are the first race and first group where we will try and create a little cohesiveness at Ironman Couer d Alene. I will be speaking at a couple nutrition clinics in Idaho and will invite you all to join me. Those who do will get a special gift. Stay tuned and I will post updates and details in the coming weeks.

The only time I have had pain like that is with an incorrect bike fit. I believe it was from my seat being too low. It wouldn't hurt to get checked if you have time.

Heather, I am having the same issue with my right knee but it hurts when I run and not ride. I am thinking rest at this point. I have done the training and have the base. This will be my third IM so I am not too freaked out too much (only a little).

I hope everyone is preparing to have a great race! It's approaching fast!
I have an "injury" question to ask...forgive me...but has anyone ever experienced a "stabbing" pain behind their knee while biking? This just developed for me approximately 2 weeks ago, and now I can't ride for more than 2 hours without having this pain. I've been to PTs, chiropractors, doctors, etc and they each say something different, but none of their suggestions are helping. If anyone has any ideas, please email me at: htdonnel@u.arizona.edu (thank you in advance)
Again, I hope everyone is injury free and getting ready for a wonderful time in CDA!!!

If you are training on the bike course and need some water, gatorade, gels or rest, its all free at my house. I live on Rimrock Road about a mile from the turnaround. Stop by anytime and get what you need.

Good luck everyone! I will see you out there.

2.5 weeks till the big race! I am scheduled to conduct a couple nutrition clinics and will let you all know the minute they send me the times.
Its TAPER time!! If you have any nutrition questions or concerns, this is the time to get it sorted out. Make sure to use the forum and if you have not done so already go through the gluten free and sodium loading nutrition programs..there is still time and it could make or break your race--nutritionally!
