As of May 12th we have fourteen members in this group. Stay tuned as you are the first race and first group where we will try and create a little cohesiveness at Ironman Couer d Alene. I will be speaking at a couple nutrition clinics in Idaho and will invite you all to join me. Those who do will get a special gift. Stay tuned and I will post updates and details in the coming weeks.

nice 45 minute open water swim today..easy bike and run tomorrow. I like this taper thing!    Will you folks from Idaho promise it will be a bit warmer than the Boise 70.3.  I heard it was brutal up there.

Regardless of the conditions, I will be ready and am excited to make it back to Coeur D'Alene..this time to race!

Hi JC -- The Team First Endurance IMCDA pre-race bike ride sounds great. I'm planning on it. Thanks!

Hey Guys.

For those of you doing Cd'A 2011, I've organized a bike ride on Friday June 24, departing at 9:30AM from Cyclemetrix Bike Shop at Dalton Gardens (right off N 4th St. on the bike course).

First Endurance and some of my other sponsors will provide samples and merchandise. This is a chance to meet people, shake off some pre-race jitters and walk away with cool stuff. The ride will last ~1hr. The pace is easy and social. Bring your friends and family.

Please feel free to contact me with questions or comments. I will post an update in case details change.

Happy training, it's almost taper time....

Considering IM CDA or Ariz for 2012- my first...just want to go the distance standing.  Is the water pretty cold ? The climbs: how bad are they? Any input would be appreciated

i did cda this past june. we had great conditions. i decided to do it again in 2011. it will be my 2nd IM and both times doing it here. went well. i had only done 2 olympics prior to the IM. it is very beautiful area and it was very well run.

There are lots of rental homes very close to the transition area/expo?? That's what I did, don't know of too many hotels down that close, but there are tons within 10 minute car ride.
