Sorry if this question has already been asked somewhere else in the forum. Just got to thinking of this after reading your latest news letter on Caffein and Aspirin.
I'm getting mixed reviews on Ibuprofen - some say it's really hard on your kidneys to use it WHILE exercising. Yet, many athletes seem to pop the stuff fairly regularly. Have you seen any research on that?
Thanks,
TW

Gist of it...dangerous when exercising because of dehydration, "effectively increasing the dose to potentially dangerous levels."
Cheers,
Trevor

There is simply not a lot of data on the effects of Ibuprofen and endurance sports. We touched on Acetaminophen and Aspirin in our latest blog post to shed some light on the subject. In the end, due to the risks all three of these analgesic's should be used with considerably caution.
