Team First Endurance

My first batch of EFS liquid shot was the 6 pack of gel flasks. Since then, I have purchased 2 refill containers. The color of the liquid in the refill containers was a sort of brownish color where the liquid in the gel flasks was more like "vanilla". Just recently, I purchased another refill container and it was more like the vanilla color and seemed to be of a thicker consistency?

I am wondering if the 2 refills I bought were old? I don't recall the expiration dates now. Does the color change over time?
Thanks!

Great question..the brownish colored jugs were from one lot of product were we pasteurized the product to a greater extent. We found that it did nothing but caramelize the sugars a bit, hence the browning. Some will detect a slight caramel flavor in that one lot also.

We have since only manufactured the product with minimal pasteurization so it will not brown.
