2016 USA Masters Swimming Summer Nationals - up to day 1

At 3+ weeks out i was hitting PR's in the weight room and feeling great in the pool.Everything was going great.Yeah, you can already hear the JAWS music can't you?A single glass of fresh squeezed OJ....food poisoning...lost 6lbs in 18hrs and not the good way.missed more workouts in 1 week than in 6 months.those i went to i could barely do half.finally after an enitre week, i was somewhat back on my schedule.but in my mind, everything felt off. do you think i even remotely through in the towel? …See More

2016 USA Masters Swimming Nationals - day 2

Day 2 - April 29 i wake up, thankfully not as sore as i thought i might be, and take my OptygenHP and MultiV-Pro and get my fav pre-race breakfast along with some EFS-Pro to wash it down. head to the pool for a warmup as i dont race till much later in the day. 200 Fly my famous quote again - Real men swim it, smart men watch it! i do another warmup and get ready for the race after having some EFS-Pro. my plan is to go out as smooth and relaxed as i can. to the starting blocks. get a great…See More
